Zambia

Anvil owns mineral rights in Zambia, at Nchelenge, but these have been farmed out to Mawson West.  Mawson West entered into the Farm-in Agreement with Anvil in April 2006 on the Kapulo project, which straddles the border between Zambia and the DRC.  The high-grade Kapulo copper deposits are located 130 kilometres north-east of Anvil’s Dikulushi mine.  The agreement provides for Mawson West to earn 65% by spending $4 million over a four year period.  (www.mawsonwest.com.au).
