Mr William S. Turner

Director, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr Turner joined the Company in July 1995. He has a Bachelor of Science (Geology and Mineralogy) from the University of Queensland, a Master of Science from James Cook University and an M.B.A. from Monash University. Mr Turner has worked internationally at a senior level for over 25 years in Central and Southeast Asia and Africa. Prior to joining Anvil NL in 1995, Mr Turner worked with Dominion Mining Limited over a period of 10 years as the General Manager – Indonesia and Special Projects Manager – Australia. Mr Turner is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Mr Paul Chare

Vice President Operations, DRC

Mr Chare joined Anvil in January 2008 as Project Director Kinsevere Stage II and was appointed Vice President Operations in May 2009. Mr Chare has some 30 years experience in the mining industry with senior management roles in Australia, Myanmar and Mongolia. Mr Chare has a B. Eng. Mining (Honours) from London University. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Mr Robert La Vallière

Vice President Corporate Affairs

Mr La Vallière joined Anvil in June, 2005. He has more than 25 years experience in the mining industry including exploration, project evaluations, M & A activities and communications experience in domestic and international settings. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from the Université de Québec in 1978 and a MBA from Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) affiliated to the University of Montréal in 1982. Mr LaVallière is a member of the Ordre des Géologues du Québec (P.Geo.) and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM).

Mr Stuart McKenzie

Company Secretary

Mr McKenzie was appointed as Company Secretary in October 2006. He has an extensive background in finance and commerce having held senior positions with international corporations such as Ernst and Young and HSBC. Prior to joining Anvil he was Treasurer and Company Secretary with Ok Tedi Mining Limited for over three and a half years.

Mr Lui Evangelista

Acting CFO

Mr Evangelista joined Anvil in February 2005 as assistant Financial Controller and was recently appointed Acting CFO. He has extensive experience in financial management and company secretarial working in Australia and Europe with both listed and non listed companies, including six years at BHP Billiton. He has CPA and ACIS qualifications and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.

Mr Charles Loots

Manager Public Affairs

Mr Charles Loots has more than 10 years experience in the mining industry with specialization in social, environmental and public Affairs. He has a Bachelor of Economics from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, a Master of Science (Ecological Economics) from Edinburgh University, Scotland. After joining Anvil Mining in 2008, Charles is currently completing an executive MBA at the University of Western Australia. He began work in the mining industry on site in Mali, West Africa for AngloGold Ashanti, the third largest gold producer in the world. There he spent a number of years before moving to the corporate office in Johannesburg where he oversaw environmental and public affairs issues for seven open pit mines located in five African countries. He then joined Parsons Brinkerhoff in South Africa, a leader in designing and developing heavy industry and mining infrastructure around the world.

Mr Michael Lawlor

Manager Technical Services

Mr Lawlor joined the Company in July 2007, following a period of almost ten years as a Principal Mining Consultant and Division Manager for Snowden Mining Industry Consultants in Perth, Western Australia. Mr Lawlor has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) degree from the WA School of Mines and a Master of Engineering Science (Mining Geomechanics)degree from James Cook University. He holds additional qualifications in Mineral Economics and Project Management, is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and also a Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.

Mrs Karen O'Neill

Commercial Manager, Kinsevere Stage II

Mrs O'Neill joined Anvil in March 2008 as Manager Risk and Assurance and moved to Project Commercial Manager in May 2008. She has extensive commercial and governance experience having held senior positions with international companies. She has worked broadly in the professional services and investment banking industries before moving to mining and has worked in Africa and Europe as well as Australia.

Mr Alan Walker

Senior Project Manager, Kinsevere

Mr Walker joined Anvil in April 2010 as Senior Project Manager for Kinsevere Stage II. He has more than 25 years experience in the mining and metals industry, including mechanical engineering, project management and general management experience in the UK, South Africa and Australia. Mr Walker has a MA (Engineering) from Cambridge University. He is a PMP registered with the Project Management Institute, a Professional Engineer and a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (South Africa).

Mr Brendan Moseley

Manager Metallurgy, Kinsevere

Mr Moseley joined Anvil in November 2008. He has 16 years experience in the mineral processing industry in both operational and management roles, having worked in a number of Gold and base metal operations in Australia as well as Uganda, Ghana and DRC. Mr Moseley has a Bachelor of Applied Science Chemistry (Major) from Curtin University of Technology, Bentley, Western Australia.
