Mr William S. Turner
Director, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr Turner joined the Company in July 1995. He has a Bachelor of Science (Geology and Mineralogy) from the University of Queensland, a Master of Science from James Cook University and an M.B.A. from Monash University. Mr Turner has worked internationally at a senior level for over 15 years in Central and Southeast Asia and Africa. Prior to joining Anvil NL in 1995, Mr Turner worked with Dominion Mining Limited over a period of 10 years as the General Manager – Indonesia and Special Projects Manager – Australia. Mr Turner is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Mr Craig R. Munro
Senior Vice President Corporate and CFO

Mr Munro joined Anvil in April, 2004. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant with over 30 years experience in the mining industry. Mr Munro was Executive Director, Finance for Aquarius Platinum Limited from December 1997 to January 2002 during which time he was responsible for all financial and corporate matters including listing on the London Stock Exchange AIM market, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and the Australian Stock Exchange. Mr Munro is a non-executive director of Gallery Gold Limited, a Fellow of the Australasian I.M.M., a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants.

Mr Malcolm Hillbeck
Senior Vice President Operations, DRC

Mr Hillbeck joined Anvil in September, 2005. Malcolm is a mining engineer (University of Birmingham, UK) with more than 40 years experience in the mining industry at operations, senior management and corporate levels. He has an extensive background in the management of underground and open-cut mining operations and has accumulated significant knowledge in the planning and development of mining activities. Malcolm has developed and operated mines in Europe, North America, Africa and Australia.

Mr Mike O'Sullivan
Senior Vice President Strategy & Business Development

Mr O'Sullivan joined Anvil in 2001. He graduated from Otago School of Mines in 1983. Since graduating he has worked in development and operational roles in base metals, precious metals, industrial minerals, coal and iron deposits in New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Algeria and South Africa. During the last five years he has worked exclusively in Africa on precious and base metal developments for Delta Gold N.L., Zimbabwe Platinum Mines and Metallurgical Design & Management (Pty) Ltd.

Mr Robert La Vallière
Vice President Investor Relations

Mr La Vallière joined Anvil in June, 2005. He has more than 25 years experience in the mining industry including exploration, project evaluations and communications experience in domestic and international settings. Robert received a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from the Université deQuébec in 1978 and a MBA from Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) affiliated to the University of Montréal in 1982. Robert is a member of the Ordre des Géologues du Québec (P.Geo.) and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM).

Mr Jeff Knuckey
Vice President Human Resources

Mr Knuckey has a BA from the University of Western Australia and over 25 years of extensive industry experience. Jeff held various management positions with Western Mining Corporation, Lion Nathan and Alcoa and acquired considerable experience in HR policies and standards, coaching, health and safety, remuneration systems, training and industrial relations.

Mr Lui Evangelista
Financial Controller

Mr Evangelista joined Anvil in February 2005 and was appointed Financial Controller in July 2006. Lui is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with over 17 years experience in financial management in Australia and Europe, including four years as Company Secretary of an ASX listed company.

Mr Stuart McKenzie
Company Secretary

Mr McKenzie was appointed as Company Secretary in October 2006. He has an extensive background in finance and commerce having held senior positions with international corporations such as Ernst and Young and HSBC. Prior to joining Anvil he was Treasurer and Company Secretary with Ok Tedi Mining Limited for over three and a half years.

Dr Toby Bradbury
Vice President Operations DRC

Dr Toby Bradbury has been appointed Vice President Operations DRC effective April 7, 2008 and will succeed Malcolm Hillbeck when he retires late this year. Toby has over 25 years international experience in the mining and minerals sectors, in South Africa, UK and Australia across a broad range of commodities. For the past five years, working through his own consulting practice, Toby has provided corporate, strategic, operating and risk management guidance to mining businesses throughout Australia, China and South Africa. Previous employment roles in Australia include General Manager Mining for HWE Mining, responsible for all Australasian surface and underground mining operations and General Manager Opencut Operations for Glencore Coal Australia, the forerunner to Xstrata Coal. Toby has a degree in Mining Engineering and a PhD in Rock Mechanics from the University of Wales and a Masters Degree in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa. He is a qualified Mine Manager, a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mining Engineers, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
