 Kinsevere Mine Development

Anvil Mining is a copper producer in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Company currently operates the Stage I Heavy Media Separation Plant at its Kinsevere mine, at which 16,406 tonnes of copper was produced in 2009. In December 2009, the Company reached agreement with Trafigura Beheer B.V. for a combined debt and equity financing of $200 million which allows for the completion of construction of the Stage II Solvent Extraction Electrowinning Plant at Kinsevere, that is expected to produce 60,000 tonnes per year of copper cathode.

The Kinsevere deposit is located in the renowned Katangan Copperbelt and Kinsevere Stage II is the Company's flagship project, with outstanding economic returns that reflect the exceptional quality of the Kinsevere copper deposit. The Company's focus of effort in 2010 is on the development of Kinsevere Stage II, with production scheduled to commence during the second quarter of 2011.
